• 18/1/06.....Today's useless piece of information...........next Tuesday, (27thJanuary), it will be 2012 days to the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics in London.

• 17/1/06.....The new £16 million Lee Valley Athletics Centre opens today in London. It is the largest indoor and outdoor athletics centre in the UK and will be one of the major facilities ahead of the 2012 Olympics. Probably the beginning of the end for Crystal Palace...............
