  • Dear Club Members,

This years Christmas social will be held at The EMI Club Wells  on Sunday 14th of December – it’s going to be a full family affair and cost just £3 for Children and £4 for adults – and includes food. For parents there is a Bar.

As usual there is a fancy dress fun run first. At the EMI club there will be a skittle competition, quiz, Secret Santa and a raffle.

Click on the below for directions to the EMI club

     11.00AM

Meet at the entrance of the old Clares factory on the Shepton Mallet road out of Wells (about 200m from the Sherston Inn)

There will be 2 races, both run as handicaps, so everyone will have the chance of winning, including all Mums and Dads. The main event will be a 5k course, predominantly traffic free, with the first runners leaving at 11.30am. This race is suitable for most over 13’s and some over 11’s. The other race will be over a 2k course and will be suitable to everyone else.

Don’t forget your fancy dress, as we will be awarding a prize for the best turned out runner.

If you cannot make the Social afterwards, we’d still love to see you for the run. If you don’t want to run then just come along to the social.

     12.30 PM

Meet inside the EMI club for Mulled Wine / Fruit juice and Hot Mince pies.

We will be holding a skittle competition, quiz and hopefully party frolics for the kids, Secret Santa and a Raffle.

Any donations for the raffle are greatly appreciated. (Bring them on the day).

For Secret Santa bring a small gift already wrapped but unlabeled. You will not know who will get your present, or who gave the present you receive. It’s a secret!!

The bar will be open all afternoon for parents.

We will be doing a prize giving ceremony for the handicap winners and the fancy dress competition.

Tickets will be shortly available and you can buy them at Training.
